DO you feel embarrased when you look hideous if you have your picture taken?

Or have you ever met someone whose photos are really appealing than their looks in person? Some people are naturally photogenic, but there are some helpful ways to try out to look great in prints.

Try these out.

1. KNOW YOUR SKIN TONE,AND CHOOSE THE COLOR THAT SUITS YOU BEST.

Are you on the cool tone, neutral or warm tone side?
If you dont know yet, check this out:

*Blue veins = cool undertones

*Green veins = warm/golden undertones

*Both blue & green veins = olive undertones

*Purple veins = neutral undertones

Colors to wear for those who have cool undertones:

CLEAR COLORS

*blues
*greens
*pinks
*purples
*blue-greens
*magentas
*blue based reds
*black and white

Worst at colors:

*earthly tones
*orange and gold

Colors to wear for those who have warm undertones:

MUTED COLORS

*yellows
*oranges
*ivory
*browns
*yellow green
*orange red

Worst at colors:

*bright colors
*blue tones

2.KNOW YOUR BEST ANGLE

Finding your best angle can be more difficult. You can do this by exploring different angles and position and take pictures of them by using a digital camera. Also, try showing different kinds of expressions like:

*smiling
*half smiling
*smiling with teeth showing
*one side smiling

3. BE CONFIDENT

When i had my first photoshoot, its kinda looked odd. and fake because i wasn't confident.
The smile looks fake and i looked nervous. Don't be too conscious and stop thinking, a relax feeling would help lots, and surely produce better pictures.
Or a deep inhale and exhale might help before a picture is to be taken.

As i got used to photoshoots, i got so confident and just do what i should so and just act naturally. Trust me, viewers like the expressions natural.

4. AVOID DOUBLE CHIN

Well it doesnt look good, like what most fahion consultant say, chin up for poise.

5. HIDE YOUR FLAWS

Use a concealer or body make up to hide your unwanted marks, stretchmarks, red spots.
L'oreal liquid make up itself is a good product for concealing your blemishes.

6. BE NATURALLY HAPPY

think of happy thoughts, and smile naturally. a forced smile will look too weird. Also, to make this smile more realistic, make your eyes look happy.
Practice different expressions in fron of a mirror.

7.STAND STILL

When you agve a pose, you have to maintain that pose until shots are done, or the photographer told you to. Know that, a professional photographer takes lots of pictures in a single posing.

8. GET A PRO TO TAKE YOUR PICTURES

A skilled photographer knows how to bring out the best angle and look on you, the poses and composition.

9. POST-PROCESS BUT NOT TOO FAKE

Alter some scars or eye bags, and try to make it a photo of a super star. BUT do not make it look too fake, or youll end up with people thinking of you being trying too hard,. JUST make it still look like you ;)

Do's

*Study different poses from the net, of professional models, their expressions and props.
*Seek for advice, from your friends, show them your pictures and ask them which is better.
*Use make -up
*Beauty rest(it makes you feel prettier)

Don'ts

*Too much photo editing
*exagerrated facial expressions
